just float.

It’s been a long week, but I survived it and made it to Friday. After a stressful week, there is nothing more relaxing than turning on the hot water, pouring myself a glass of wine, and having a bubble bath. From the moment I dip in, my stresses simply float away. If you’re like me and enjoy a nice bath, then continue reading for the essentials to escape to your perfect bubble bath.

BUBBLE BATH 101
The  Bubbles: In order to make your bath a bubble bath, you’re obviously going to need bubbles. This can range from bath bombs, liquid bubble bath, bath salts, bath bars, to even the shower gel that you already own. Some of my favourite stores to purchase these items include: Bath & Body Works, The Body Shop, Lush, Sephora, Target, and Shoppers Drug Mart.
The Candles: Candles are key and a must. I enjoy candles in any setting, but love them most during a bath. I am obsessed with Bath & Body Works’ candles and have more than I can count. They always have great deals on their candles and they have a huge selection. If Bath & Body Works is not your cup of tea, don’t fret any candles will do.
The Playlist: While having a bath, I always need to have something playing in the background. I like listening to soothing music like Nora Jones, John Mayer, or Ed Sheeran. If you have not used 8tracks before, this is something you must do now. 8tracks is the best way to find all sorts of playlists and is a must for any bath.

Enjoy floating away to your relaxing escape from reality.

& if all else fails, JUST BREATHE.

  1. You had me at "bubbles". I agree that a good way to de-stress is by taking a bubble bath. I usually bring a glass of wine and a book into the tub, reading until the water gets cold.

  2. Wow, I feel relaxed just reading this! I love the idea, and I love bubble baths, but now realize that I need to take more time to enjoy them. It is so hard to find time to relax, but these tips are so great and inspiring, I will make a point of having a great bubble bath soon!

  3. You had me at wine and bubble baths. I have to agree with Heather though. I do the same thing as she does when it comes to relaxing in the tub.
